- Cross Dock Centre - a stockless (or virtual)
distribution centre where goods 'cross docks' between receiving and shipping
docks without going into stock (warehouse). This usually happens quickly and is
achieved by suppliers delivering individual store orders and marked out floor
areas representing each store.

mutually exclusive are built into a rule based knowledge tree. Users can
then configure deliverable products, such as cars, on-line with the

- Capable To Promise - similar to Available To Promise (ATP)
but is much more complex in that it doesn't just rely on stock building,
forecasts or MPS to check stock availability into the future but can
ripple through bills of materials into supplier schedules and capacity
to see if the supply chain is capable of meeting a proposed order. CTP
and Global ATP usually require Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS)
technology.
