- 'Systems, Applications, Products in Data Processing' or as it is in
the original German 'Systeme, Anwendungen, Produkte in der
Datenverarbeitung'. Many people talk about the largest ERP software
vendor without knowing that it is an acronym and what it actually
stands for.

This is the model developed by the Supply Chain Council SCC and is built around
four major processes: plan, source, make and deliver. The aim of the SCOR is to
provide a standardised method of measuring supply chain performance and to use a
common set of metrics to benchmark against other organizations. PRTM, a founding
member of the SCC, actually does the research to come up with industry
supply chain best practice metrics.
